About me

Full Stack Developer with 10+ years of experience building web and mobile applications across Brazil, Japan, and Canada. I've worked with agencies, product companies, and as a freelancer, delivering everything from e-commerce platforms and internal management systems to AR applications and immersive XR experiences.
My core stack is React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript, but I'm comfortable across the full spectrum, from pixel-perfect front ends and RESTful APIs to cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, Android development in Java, and immersive experiences in Unreal Engine 5.
I care about writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and I thrive in collaborative environments where technology solves real business problems.

Hansei

Fitness & Nutrition · Continuous Improvement

Hansei is a full-stack fitness and nutrition tracking web app built for people who take their health seriously. The name comes from the Japanese concept of self-reflection and continuous improvement.

Built with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, the app covers the full fitness stack: custom workout builder with exercise library, real-time macro and nutrition tracking, BMR/TDEE calculation, hydration logging, supplement reminders, and body composition tracking over time. The architecture separates concerns cleanly between a React frontend and a RESTful Node.js API backed by PostgreSQL, designed from the start to support the upcoming React Native migration for iOS and Android.

Currently in open beta with real users. Mobile apps in development with React Native.

Some Things I've Built

Blaze AR augmented reality application showing a product visualized at real scale

Blaze AR

Android Studio Java ARCore

An augmented reality Android application developed at Blaze Inc, enabling customers and retailers to visualize products at real scale before making a purchase decision. Built with Java and Google ARCore, the app delivered a measurable impact on the business, reducing post-purchase dissatisfaction by 23% and increasing sales team deal closure rates by 20%.
The project was part of a broader set of contributions at Blaze Inc that earned two internal fiscal-year awards, one as part of the team and one individually, recognizing outstanding technical achievement and business impact.

Cybersecurity Escape Room virtual reality environment built in Unreal Engine 5

Cybersecurity Escape Room in VR

Unreal Engine 5

A fully interactive cybersecurity-themed escape room built in virtual reality during a co-op at Mohawk College's XR Studio. Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the project combined game design, scripting, spatial audio, and performance optimization to create an immersive educational experience for students.
The goal was to teach cybersecurity concepts through hands-on VR gameplay, requiring careful attention to both technical performance and user interaction design within a multidisciplinary team of developers and designers.
